The Treaty of Rome, a 2007 uncirculated commemorative 2 euro coin from France.

The French Mint is proud to present this commemorative 2 euro coin celebrating the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Rome.

This coin shows the Treaty signed by the six founding Member States on a background evoking the geometrical paving of the Piazza del Campidoglio in Rome, designed by Michelangelo, where the Treaty of Rome was signed on March 25, 1957. The translation of the words "Treaty of Rome 50 years" is inscribed above the design. Under the design, the year of issue and the issuing country: "Republique Francaise".

Includes Capsule and Easel.
