The 500th Anniversary of the birth of Andrea Palladio, a 2008 silver proof 10 euro coin from San Marino.

This silver proof coin celebrates Andrea di Pietro della Gondola (Andrea Palladio, 1508 - 1580), a genial Italian architect and stage designer. He gave his name to the Palladian style, which is based on the classic-Roman principles of architecture, in contrast with the lavish Renaissance styles.

The reverse features an external view of Villa Pojana, located in Pojana Maggiore and built by Palladio in 1546 for the Pojana family.

Includes Capsule, Official Case, Certificate of Authenticity and Protective Box.
