Created after the Second World War, the de Havilland Beaver was built to withstand the extremes of Canada’s northern regions. Used widely as a utility aircraft, the Beaver has been used by military and civilians alike. Over 1,600 Beavers were produced and have served in many countries. Some can still be seen flying around the world today, a testament to the Beaver’s durability.
